Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, the team is trusted to deliver with distinction, underpinned by leading-edge technology, streamlined processes and advanced resourcing strategies.\nWe are looking for a candidate with exposure to, or experience of, Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), who is eager to develop and deepen their expertise in this specialist area. You will play an important role in the delivery of high-quality legal services in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, working alongside experienced colleagues to manage and progress DSAR projects from scoping through to production.\nYour Role\nUndertaking first-level reviews of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) to a high standard, with close attention to detail, accuracy and speed, including the application of redactions and exemptions under data protection legislation.\nSupporting lead reviewers on DSAR matters, assisting with the scoping of requests, the day-to-day review process and the preparation of final responses.\nAnalysing new DSAR instructions received into the team and taking detailed instructions from fee earners.\nUsing e-disclosure platforms such as Relativity to conduct document reviews and e-disclosure exercises.\nCommunicating with client teams and external clients as required, ensuring that instructions are sought, followed and clearly documented throughout the lifecycle of a matter.\nReporting regularly on the progression of ongoing matters, ensuring deadlines are met and workloads are effectively managed.\nWorking collaboratively as part of the team whilst exercising independent initiative to manage your own workload efficiently.\nYour Knowledge, Skills and Experience\nParalegal experience gained within a document review, data protection or related legal role, with some exposure to Data Subject Access Requests.\nA working understanding of data protection legislation, including the application of exemptions and the redaction process.\nSome experience of, or a strong interest in, document review platforms such as Relativity or similar eDiscovery tools; a willingness to develop technical proficiency in this area is essential.\nAbility to identify privilege and handle confidential information with discretion.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with good self-management skills and the ability to multitask, prioritise competing demands and work to tight deadlines.\nAccuracy, good organisational skills and the flexibility to adapt across a varied and changing workload.\nA proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for developing expertise in data protection and document review work.\nWhat We Offer\nThis is a hybrid role with 50% office attendance expected, sitting within our Document Review and Collation team. The DRC team provides multi-disciplinary expertise and scalable legal resources to support TLT's legal groups in the delivery of large-scale projects and Future Law services for our clients.\nThe team brings together a talented mix of paralegals and both qualified and non-qualified legal professionals, working collaboratively to support contentious and non-contentious fee earners from across the firm on a broad and varied range of matters.
