This position will be in the MEP Practice with a primary focus on plumbing and fire protection engineering.\nQualifications:\nDesign of plumbing and fire protection systems for buildings. This may include domestic hot and cold water, sanitary and vent, storm drainage, natural and medical gas, compressed air, sprinkler, fire pump, and clean agent fire suppression systems. \nPreparation of construction documents including calculations, drawings, details, and specifications. \nConstruction administration services such as site visits, construction meetings, review of submittals, and responding to RFI’s. \nExperience with AutoCAD and Revit required.\nResponsible:\nB.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required. \nEIT Certification or PE License is preferred, not required. \n4+ years prior experience in designing plumbing and fire protection systems. \nExperience with and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD and Revit required. \nAbility to interact with all levels of employees, especially Mechanical, Electrical and Structural Engineers. \nWilling to learn new interesting technical fields. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to work on several projects at once. \nAbility to work in a team environment, self-starter, demonstrated organizational skills, and willingness to learn. \nT&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws, including the New Jersey Equal Pay Act. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $90,000 - $115,000 .
