This person will be responsible for design projects related to wastewater treatment, hydraulic design, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial wastewater treatment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in Identifying and evaluating potential improvements in treatment processes and equipment to enhance performance and efficiency.\nConduct wastewater treatment process calculations and assist in process modeling to properly size and configure treatment processes.\nDesign layouts and specifications for treatment system improvements, including equipment, pumps, piping, tanks, chemical feed systems, and process monitoring and control systems in collaboration with technical experts and other design disciplines.\nAssist with evaluating and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements; prepare and submit regulatory permit applications as needed.\nAssist in construction-related activities including reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), preparing RFPs (Requests for Proposals), tracking project progress, reviewing contractor pay applications, and advising the owner on discrepancies and changes.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited university is required.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) License required (PA license preferred).\n5+ years of engineering experience in the water and/or wastewater disciplines.\nKnowledge of local, state, regional, and federal regulatory requirements related to water and wastewater.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem-solving and operational skills.\nT&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws, including the New Jersey Equal Pay Act. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $90,000 - $115,000 .
