Role Description\nProvide Technical Advisory Services (TAS) to coordinate installation and commissioning activities for assigned projects that meet project schedules and performance criteria.\nRole Accountabilities\n· Commission AC and DC drive systems and/or control software to meet design performance criteria\n· Perform tune up of closed loop regulators to ensure optimal equipment performance and meet design parameters\n· Troubleshoot and correct performance problems in complex control systems\n· Design, configure, and test system software and hardware to meet contractual requirements of assigned scope\n· Gather pertinent information from authorized sources to assess project requirements as related to assigned scope of work\n· Provide regular, accurate, and considered commissioning status reports to parties deemed appropriate to the situation\n· Lead respective process component of client witness system acceptance test of assigned scope\n· Recommend changes to commissioning procedures to improve system performance\n· Recommend software or hardware improvements to business unit engineering team\n· Maintain current safety qualifications appropriate to the assigned tasks and adhere to both Company and client safety requirements\n· Train client personnel on system maintenance procedures and/or system operation to ensure optimum performance and minimum downtime\n· Plan systems, control system theory, supervisory software development, data base design/management, software engineering, robotics, or mechatronics \n· Personal computer hardware and software skill proficiency \n· Co-op, internship or other work experience \n· Demonstrated problem solving skills \n· Demonstrated successful working relationships with others, specifically clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts if previous employment experience \n· Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts \n· Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills \n· Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility \n· coursework\n· Research project or thesis in the areas of electrical power systems, control system theory, software engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or AC/DC motor drives\n· Work experience as
