Create a network of commercial and technical evaluator relationships with clients and vendors to define integrated solutions and build a pipeline of potential business within the photovoltaic inverter market.\nRequirements\nRole Accountabilities\n· Prepare and deliver presentations at technical conferences and meetings with clients, at client sites as necessary or assigned\n· Track competitive environment to identify new products and technology and provide comparative analyses to the commercial and R&D teams\n· Track competitor’s offerings, assess client situations, and propose competitive options applicable to the clients’ individual needs\n· Monitor industry trends to recommend new product and service features\n· Identify, recommend, and as requested, develop new solutions, products, and applications to drive business growth\n· Review brochures for technical accuracy\n· Provide product and system feedback and service opportunities for improvement to appropriate management\n· Identify enhanced product or service feature needs by soliciting feedback from clients\n· Evaluate supplier proposals to determine the best technical and most economical solution for the application\n· Develop pricing strategies to maximize project margins\n· Prepare detailed cost elements for the technical specification\n· Design competitive and viable technical approaches to resolve client issues\n· Define solutions that include hardware and software requirements for a project, in collaboration with clients and original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s)\n· Effectively communicate these requirements to the clients and internal engineering team\n· Provide technical guidance in the preparation, review, and final commercial proposal generation to client\n· Lead technical and commercial proposal development for small projects with limited supervision\n· Prepare commercial proposals and technical specifications to meet clients’ Request for Quote (RFQ) requirements\nGeneral Employee Accountabilities\n· Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager\n· Give manager best advice\n· Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified\n· Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager\n· Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment\n· Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws\n· Recommend viable improvements proactively\n· Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes\nMinimum Qualifications\n· Bachelor of Science in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent education and/or work experience\n· 2 years’ systems or application engineering experience in the PV industry or related industry power systems experience\n· Demonstrated success as contributing member in project team\n· Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts\n· Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills\n· Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility\n· Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook\nLink to TMEIC Corporation Americas website\nhttps://www.tmeic.com/.
