12 month time horizon\nRole Accountabilities\n· Develop technical courses and programs in multiple formats to meet Company skill set requirements and client commitments.\n· Plan, prepare, and conduct assigned engineering and related technical training and development programs for employees, clients, and service providers at company facilities or client facilities\n· Develop generic training materials for onsite training use or customization by others\n· Ensure course material and equipment are prepared and available prior to course\n· Recommend new and improved content, courses, programs, and curricula for technical training and development based on Company’s current and future products, tools, technology, and enhancements\n· Identify and recommend training equipment and facility requirements to meet current and future Company needs\n· Continuously monitor and investigate new and emerging Company products, tools, technology, and enhancements via consultation with other business and functional units\n· Acquire technical knowledge and skills needed to develop and conduct training on identified topics via site and factory visits, contribution to project engineering and commissioning as a team member, and other methods as necessary\n· Provide input for the development of the annual client training schedule and ensure schedule is met and/or revised as necessary\n· Provide technical information and support to appropriate personnel for development of technical training modules\n· Feedback product and service recommendations from clients and group company engineers to business unit, development, and customer support engineering team management\n· Provide subject matter expertise and course development services for group companies as assigned\nGeneral Employee Accountabilities\n· Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager\n· Give manager best advice\n· Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified\n· Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager\n· Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment\n· Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws\n· Recommend viable improvements proactively\n· Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes\nRequirements\n· Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or in related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience.\n· 2 years’ experience in one or more of the following: industrial systems, controllers, networks, HMI, control functions, drives, or motors\n· Demonstrated extensive knowledge, skills, and experience in drive or industrial control systems\n· Demonstrated knowledge of safe work practices associated with electrical power conversion equipment or industrial control systems\n· Demonstrated ability to present technical data in a group setting\n· Demonstrated experience training others in area of expertise\n· Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts\n· Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills\n· Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility\n· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows\n· Availability to travel domestically, up to 50% during peak demand, and internationally, rarely, sometimes with limited notice\nPreferred Qualifications\n· 2 years’ experience in the metals, material handling, paper, renewable energy, or general industries\n· Demonstrated knowledge of the technical fundamentals of variable speed DC drives and motors\n· Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in power systems and harmonics\n· Demonstrated experience creating online technical training modules\n· Demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally prepare, organize, and conduct technical training programs\n· Demonstrated experience delivering instructor-led technical training\n· Demonstrated experience working with international clients\n· Demonstrated proficiency in technical report writing\nLink to TMEIC Corporation Americas website\nhttps://www.tmeic.com/.
