Transform your supply chain into a strategic advantage with our end-to-end supply chain consulting services, covering every step from supplier to customer.
Backed by Next Capital

At TMX Transform, we help some of the world's leading organisations solve complex supply chain, property and infrastructure challenges. From automated distribution centres and logistics networks through to industrial developments and data centres, we partner with clients to design, optimise and deliver solutions that create measurable business outcomes.Unlike many consultancies, we don't stop at recommendations.

Our teams work across strategy, design and delivery, helping clients turn complex ideas into real-world outcomes. As a growing international consultancy with teams across Australia, Asia, Europe and North America, we are looking for an IT Operations Coordinator to support and maintain our global technology environment.

This is not a traditional IT Coordinator role focused on logging tickets and passing problems elsewhere. We're looking for someone with strong Level 2 support capability who can independently troubleshoot issues, administer core systems, make decisions, and take ownership of day-to-day IT operations.

What You'll Be Responsible For

IT Operations & End User Support

  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for IT support across the business.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 support issues across Microsoft 365, devices, user access and business applications.
  • Assess business impact, prioritise issues and determine when escalation to the MSP is required.
  • Take ownership of incidents through to resolution rather than simply coordinating support requests.

Microsoft 365 & Identity Management

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID and related technologies.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, groups, licensing and access requests.
  • Support device provisioning, configuration and management across a global workforce.
  • Assist with Microsoft security, compliance and identity management activities.

MSP & Vendor Management

  • Manage the relationship with our outsourced MSP.
  • Monitor ticket queues, service levels and escalations.
  • Challenge providers where necessary and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Coordinate software vendors, licensing providers and technology partners.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate and administer all IT onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Ensure employees receive the appropriate devices, accounts, licences and system access.
  • Manage account deactivation, device recovery and security controls for departing employees.

Hardware & Asset Management

  • Coordinate procurement and deployment of hardware across Australia and international offices.
  • Maintain accurate records of devices, locations, serial numbers, warranties and lifecycle status.
  • Oversee asset tracking, refresh programs and equipment disposal processes.

Security & Governance

  • Support cyber security initiatives and identify potential security risks.
  • Maintain IT policies, procedures and operational documentation.
  • Assist with audits, access reviews and ISO 27001 compliance activities.
  • Ensure technology governance processes are followed across the business.

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in an IT Operations, IT Support, Service Delivery or similar role.
  • Strong Level 2 support capability with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve common IT issues.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, user accounts, licensing and endpoint environments.
  • Experience working with and managing outsourced MSPs or technology service providers.
  • Strong understanding of access management, IT operations and cyber security fundamentals.
  • Experience with hardware procurement, asset management and employee onboarding/offboarding.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage with users at all levels of the business.
  • Ability to work autonomously, make decisions and take ownership of outcomes.

What Success Looks Like

  • Employees receive timely, effective support and have confidence in the technology function.
  • The majority of Level 1 and Level 2 issues are resolved internally without unnecessary escalation.
  • Microsoft 365, Entra ID and user access environments are well maintained, secure and accurately administered.
  • Hardware, software and asset records are current and reliable.
  • MSP performance is actively managed and service standards are consistently met.
  • IT governance, security and compliance obligations are achieved across the business.

Why TMX?

At TMX, you'll work in a high-growth international business that helps some of the world's leading organisations solve complex operational and infrastructure challenges. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Take ownership of IT operations across a global business.
  • Work directly with senior leaders and employees across multiple regions.
  • Influence how technology is delivered and supported within the organisation.
  • Gain exposure to modern cloud technologies, security initiatives and business systems.
  • Build your career in a fast-growing consultancy with global ambitions.
