We are looking for an engineer who combines strong IT Operations expertise with software development experience and DevOps practices to automate processes, improve existing systems, and build reliable operational solutions.\nYour Role at TNET:\nAnalyze existing infrastructure, identify operational gaps, and implement improvements.\n\nMaintain and optimize production environments across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.\n\nDesign and develop automation solutions to reduce manual operational tasks.\n\nDevelop scripts, tools, and internal utilities to automate system administration and operational workflows.\n\nApply software engineering principles to infrastructure automation and operational processes.\n\nSupport infrastructure optimization, migrations, backups, and system improvements.\n\nTroubleshoot complex infrastructure, system, and application-level issues.\n\nImprove monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response processes.\n\nImplement CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and infrastructure automation.\n\nCollaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes, system reliability, and delivery workflows.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system standards.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\n5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related roles.\n\nStrong hands-on experience managing and improving production infrastructure.\n\nStrong experience with automation and reducing manual operational processes.\n\nSoftware development experience is required — ability to write and maintain production-level code or automation tools using languages such as Python, Go, or similar.\n\nExperience applying software engineering practices to infrastructure automation and operational improvements.\n\nUnderstanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and continuous deployment processes.\n\nExperience with Linux and Windows operating systems.\n\nExperience with VMware vSphere, AWS, Veeam Backup, SAN storage, and server architecture.\n\nExperience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Checkmk and logging platforms such as ELK.\n\nStrong understanding of networking, infrastructure security, and system reliability principles.\n\nAbility to analyze complex systems, identify root causes, and simplify operational processes.\n\nExperience documenting technical solutions and operational procedures.\n\nSuccess in This Role Means:\nReduced manual operational workload through automation.\n\nImproved
