This position is open only to candidates who are living in Hungary and are authorized to work in the EU. The successful candidate will have the option of working fully remotely, from Waypoint's Budapest office, or in a hybrid working arrangement.The Project Management team is responsible for leading cross-functional project teams to achieve project goals on time. Occasional after-hours work will be required.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities\nEssential responsibilities include:\nEffectively apply PMO methodology to plan, execute, monitor, and control assigned projects to deploy physical network infrastructure, cross-connects, and long-haul circuits in a data center/managed hosting environment.\n\nCreate and maintain the required project documentation in all systems, such as Salesforce, SharePoint, and Remedy.\n\nKeep project records and all impacted stakeholders updated with the latest status and expected completion date.\n\nEnsure project documents and related database records are complete, current, and stored appropriately.\n\nComplete the project Operational Readiness Review with the Network Operations Center team.\n\nManage multiple projects simultaneously with multi-week to multi-month lifecycles.\n\nCollaborate with Product Management, Capacity Planning Management, Network Engineering, Network Architecture, Logistics, Facilities, internal and external Field Services personnel, vendors, and occasionally external clients to ensure projects are delivered within the designated SLA.\n\nEscalate issues when needed to deliver projects on time.\n\nTrack risks and proactively create contingency plans.\n\nFollow all processes and procedures, identify lessons learned, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nOccasionally attend after-hours maintenance activities, as required for project delivery (installations, migrations, etc.).\n\nExperience and Qualifications\nRequired:\nExperience deploying physical network infrastructure, cross-connects, and long-haul circuits in a data center/managed hosting environment.\n\nFamiliarity with network switches, routers, firewalls, servers, DWDM equipment, and cable/SFP types.\n\nFamiliarity with financial exchange services, such as market data and order entry/trading.\n\nPositive attitude, strong teamwork skills, proactive approach, and the ability to build effective working relationships with project teams and management, influence decisions, and complete projects within agreed SLAs.\n\nVery good spoken and written English skills.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\n\nExcellent organizational and customer service skills.\n\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, IT/Computer Science, or a related field.\n\nDesired:\nAbility to successfully manage exchange-mandated projects and meet all published milestone dates.\n\nAbility to manage highly complex internal migration and consolidation projects involving both physical and logical work.\n\nPMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.\n\nQualifications\nIf you are passionate about technology, love personal growth and opportunity, come see what TNS is all about!\nTNS is an equal opportunity employer.
