This role offers hands-on ownership, continuous technical growth and product understanding in a fast-growing SaaS environment.\nWhat you'll achieve in your first 3 months:\nUnderstand the codebase, backend architecture, and core product workflows.\nBuild strong fundamentals in PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and basic query writing.\nStart contributing to feature development, production fixes, and basic query optimisation.\nWhat you'll achieve in your first 6 months:\nIndependently deliver major backend features by writing clean, modular, and optimised code.\nBecome comfortable with query optimisation and writing scripts for analytics and database migrations.\nParticipate in code reviews and collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, QA, and Product teams.\nWhat you'll achieve in your first 12 months:\nOwn backend modules end-to-end, coordinating closely with Product and Support teams through scoping, design reviews, development, release, and post-release support.\nGet the opportunity to work on backend infrastructure projects or contribute to other backend services.\nContribute to onboarding, technical knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.\nRequirements:\nFrameworks & Technologies - Node.js, Express & GraphQL, PostgreSQL.\nTools & Platforms - Git, Knex, GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.\nExperience with scripting and data analysis tasks.\nStrong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.\nAbility to write maintainable, readable, and scalable code.\nGood to have:\nFamiliarity with the AWS ecosystem (Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, etc. )\nExperience with background jobs, queues, and workers.\nExposure to additional data stores such as Redis, ClickHouse, or Elasticsearch.\nBasic understanding of React and Apollo Client.\nProduct mindset with empathy for end users and strong collaboration skills.\nPast working experience in SaaS or product-based companies.\nEducation: B. E/B.
