This role works diligently to ensure the overall inventory management process performs in a manner to support the overall goals of the plant from a production and efficiency perspective. The Warehouse Clerk provides ancillary purchasing support to various plant departments to facilitate plant operations.\nEssential Functions\nGovern and oversee plant inventory control processes, procedures and systems including but not limited to:\nRequisition and order material, supplies, and equipment following TCCB’s guidelines, rules, and policies.\nInitiate and process emergency purchases as required by plant management.Prepare and review purchase orders.\nTrack the status of requisitions and purchase orders.\nPrepare and maintain accurate accounting as well as organize the plant's parts and tools storage area\nTimely supply and equipment purchasing to avoid project and process delays from project inception through project completion\nTool/supply check out and return procedures\nAnticipate future plant needs through perpetual inventory review\nEnsure appropriate inventory levels for staple materials, new and spare parts and tools\nReduce waste through controlling parts and tool excess used for each task and proactively recovering unused items for future use\nControl and regulate the usage and management of all rental equipment\nControl and execute elements of the purchasing function including but not limited to:\nResearch and negotiate competitive pricing on parts, tools and services\nRegulate the timing of when and how required supplies and equipment are acquired\nProcessing invoices and ensuring timely payment\nProvide as hoc assistance of entries and updates in MP2\nGenerate and manage select routine material purchase requisitions\nReceive items, parts, tools accurately and timely\nEnsure adherence to proper requisition and approval protocols\nCreate and distribute regularly scheduled and ad hoc reporting, including but not limited to:\nSpare parts and tools, individually priced at $15k or greater, placed in service\nAccurate inventory counts (spare parts, tools, etc.)\nAmortized pricing of spare parts inventory\nPurchase card detail\nCommitted cost\nLadder inspections\nDepartment spending\nCharge code detail and summary\nCoordinate and schedule contractual labor services as well as rental equipment maintenance\nCollaborate with various internal and external partners to execute the following non-inclusive task list:\nVendor and contractor setup and management\nGenerate and issue purchase orders\nResearch, validate and respond to accounting issues and inquiries\nDraft and submit permissions for expenditures (PFE) as directed\nReduce unnecessary purchase trips through department planning and communication\nConduct quick training sessions and encourage safety centered behavior among direct subordinate staff as well as department/ancillary staff\nProvide absence relief for subordinate staff\nAdditional duties as assigned by supervisor\nRequired Education and Experience\nHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent\n1-2 years of progressive leadership experience\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills\nImpeccable attention to detail with respect to auditing/validating accuracy of systems, procedures and processes\nIntermediate level experience using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel,
