This role sits at the core of the business - ensuring liquidity stability, audit readiness, and strong financial governance in a fast-moving environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Reporting & Audit\nOwn monthly close and management reporting (P&L, BS, cashflow)\nPerform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure ledger integrity\nDrive variance analysis against budget\nManage external audits and tax filings\nEnsure revenue recognition aligns with accounting policies\nTreasury & Liquidity (Critical Function)\nMonitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts\nManage short-term liquidity forecasting (payroll, vendors, event spend)\nOversee payment approvals with strong internal controls\nExecute FX conversions and manage banking relationships\nSupport regulatory and compliance requirements\nDigital Assets & Crypto Oversight\nOversee custody accounts (e.g. Coinbase, Anchorage)\nReconcile on-chain transactions with accounting records\nCoordinate fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat movements\nEnsure secure and compliant digital asset workflows\nSponsorship Revenue Control\nOversee contract-to-invoice accuracy\nMonitor collections and aging schedules\nReconcile fiat and crypto settlements\nTrack high-value receivables to support treasury forecasting\nSystems Ownership\nMaintain integrity across Xero (GL), crypto subledgers, and revenue systems\nImprove reconciliation automation and documentation\nStrengthen process controls and reduce key-person risk\nWhat We’re Looking For\n8-10+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 2-3 years in-house/startup commercial experience in Web3 or fintech\nBig 4 background - qualified CPA holder\nProficiency in English is a MUST;
