Please consider joining our Talent Community so that we may continue to engage with you.\nJob Description\nResponsibilities\nDesign, procure, install, test modifications to improve performance of semiconductor experimental reactors\nPerform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.\nFollow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units.\nDetermine and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.\nAssist in product enhancement and product development activities related to our advanced Film Deposition tools used in the manufacturing of semiconductors\nUses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.\nDetermines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process to establish quality standards.\nWork closely with engineers and technical to support a team environment.\nPrepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.\nInterface with external vendors on outsourced products and services\nHandle contaminated parts, with appropriate PPE, to rebuilt reactors when implementing new modifications\nWhat to expect\nWithin the first week\nComplete on-board orientation, safety training, other company and site required training\nGain access to the cleanroom and other work areas\nBecome familiar with how the team communicates using tools such as MS Teams, email, and other\nWithin the first month\nBecome familiar with group goals and your role to meet those goals\nShadow both hardware and process engineers working in the cleanroom and other work areas\nPick up at least one independent activity from another team member\nWithin the first three months\nBe working independently on several projects\nWrite up weekly reports on all projects including progress, gaps, budget, timelines and needed parts\nTypical Education and Experience\nBachelors Degree\nMust be legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship.\n Preferred Skills and Education\nSkilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills\nSelf-starting individual with strong technical and hands-on skills\nProject Management training recommended\nProficient in using a Digital Multimeter\nExperienced with wide range of hand tools and power tools used for assembling hardware components\nAble to read and create electrical diagrams\nPossess basic knowledge of safely handling acids and solvents\nUnderstanding of vacuum systems fundamentals and integral hardware components to achieve and measure low vacuum state\nThe physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protective Equipment. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
