The Data Analytics Engineer is a member of the Enterprise Data & Analytics team, reporting to the Director, Data Strategy and Development. This role is responsible for building and maintaining pipelines, models, and data products that power reporting, analytics, and decision-making across Toll Brothers. Working within a modern cloud data ecosystem, including Fivetran, Coalesce, and Snowflake, the Data Analytics Engineer ensures trusted, scalable, and high-performing data solutions that support business operations.\nThis role partners directly with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production, and other business units to translate business needs into technical solutions. Deliverables may include curated data models, interactive applications built with Streamlit or React, and AI-powered capabilities that make governed enterprise data more accessible and actionable.\nWhat are the primary responsibilities?\nBuild and maintain ingestion pipelines in Fivetran to land source system data into Snowflake reliably and on schedule\nDevelop custom Python and API based integrations for source systems not covered by managed connectors\nDevelop and maintain transformation models in Coalesce Transform, applying dimensional and layered modeling patterns that support reporting and analytics at scale\nDocument data assets, definitions, and lineage in Coalesce Catalog so business users can find and trust the data they use\nDesign and tune Snowflake objects, including warehouses, roles, and storage patterns, for performance and cost efficiency\nPartner with business stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production, and other business units to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable data models and metric definitions\nBuild data applications in Streamlit and React that put analytics and workflow tools directly in the hands of business users\nApply AI and large language model capabilities to accelerate development, improve data quality checks, and enable natural language access to governed data\nEstablish and enforce data quality testing, monitoring, and alerting across pipelines and models\nPartner with analysts and BI developers to ensure downstream dashboards are built on certified, well modeled data\nContribute to data governance, security, and access control practices in coordination with the broader Technology Organization\nTroubleshoot pipeline and data issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes\nAll other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nDoes this describe you?\nSystematic thinker who maps dependencies, data flows, and failure modes before writing code\nAble to seamlessly shift between solving technical data challenges and partnering with business stakeholders.\nAble to translate business needs into clear data requirements and constructively challenge ambiguous or incomplete requests\nCurious about emerging technologies and eager to explore how AI can meaningfully improve data engineering and analytics.\nCommunicates proactively about scope, priorities, tradeoffs, and blockers\nDemonstrates exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy\nBalances thoughtful design with pragmatic execution, delivering value iteratively rather than waiting for a perfect solution\nShares knowledge openly and contributes to a collaborative, high-performing team\nAdapts well to shifting priorities and maintains momentum across concurrent projects\nDo you have these qualifications?\nEssential:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience\n3-5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a comparable data role\nStrong SQL skills\nHands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse\nExperience building and maintaining ELT pipelines with a managed ingestion tool such as Fivetran\nExperience with a modern transformation framework such as Coalesce Transform or dbt\nDemonstrated experience gathering reporting requirements directly from business stakeholders and delivering data solutions that meet the business needs\nWorking knowledge of Python for data transformation, automation, and scripting\nExperience working with REST APIs to source and deliver data\nExperience with version control and code review practices in a team setting\nWork in office 3-days per week.
