(A hunter role)\nRole Brief\nProactively interact and acquire new customers for ocean, air and customs brokerage.\n\nBuilding strong and long-lasting relationships with new & existing customers in order to develop additional business opportunities.\n\nGrow revenue and volume footprint to achieve economies of scale and service reliability.\n\nPartner with the Toll network to increase volumes in key trade lanes & verticals in accordance with our Sales Strategy.\n\nEngage with network on Global Account Development.\n\nRepresent Toll in line with our values and ethics (e.g. Safety, Integrity and Trust, Continuous Improvement).\n\nThe Opportunity\nGrow the company's air and ocean freight services in alignment with the sales strategy; proactively interact and acquire new customers for ocean, air and customs brokerage.\n\nAct as the primary sales contact for assigned customers; building strong and long-lasting relationships with new & existing customers in order to develop additional business opportunities.\n\nMaintain a sales pipeline to meet growth targets; identify, develop, and convert leads into prospects and customers.\n\nUtilize the Global CRM platform to document sales activities and customer details.\n\nWhat You’ll Need to Succeed\nResearch market trends and new opportunities, focusing on air and ocean freight.\n\n2-3 years of hunter experience in Business Development in Forwarding within the region.\n\nDevelop, update, and manage sales pipeline, prioritizing opportunities.\n\nCollaborate with internal teams (Logistics, Business Development, etc.) to build the pipeline and win new business.\n\nParticipate in regional/local RFP/RFQ processes and identify customer needs.\n\nDevelop solutions, pricing, negotiate, and close deals with new customers.\n\nCollect market information, support the Freight Forwarding Manager, and engage in training to stay current with market changes.\n\nWhat moves you?\nAt Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
