As an Environment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering environmental strategies that drive compliance, innovation, and long-term value creation across the business. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, you will provide expert guidance on environmental risk, regulatory compliance, performance reporting, and environmental management systems while influencing stakeholders across a large and complex organisation.\nA Day in the Life of an Environment Manager at Toll Group\nDevelop and implement environmental strategies and standards aligned with recognised frameworks and best practice.\nLead environmental risk management, compliance programs, audits, licence renewals, and incident reporting.\nMonitor environmental performance and deliver meaningful reporting and insights to senior leaders.\nPartner with operational teams to promote positive environmental practices across the organisation.\nBuild strong relationships with regulators, government bodies, industry groups, and key stakeholders.\nProvide thought leadership on emerging environmental risks, opportunities, legislation, and sustainability trends.\nQualifications\nTertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nExperience with environmental approvals processes.\nStrong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.\nExperience developing and improving Environmental Management Systems such as ISO 14001.\nExperience in environmental monitoring, compliance inspections, and reporting.\nLogistics or supply chain industry experience will be highly regarded.\nSkills & Experience\nRelevant experience in environmental management, strategy, reporting, or compliance within a complex organisation\nProven ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.\nStrong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capability with sound judgement.\nExperience using and improving systems for environmental data collection and reporting.\nWhat moves you?\nAt Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
