We are proudly part of Japan Post - www.tollgroup.com\nPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nCoordinate ocean shipments for import/export, including booking, documentation, and dispatch.\n\nLiaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport providers to ensure smooth cargo movement.\n\nPrepare and process bills of lading, customs declarations, and other required documentation.\n\nMonitor shipments and ensure they travel as planned; proactively communicate any delays or disruptions to customers and stakeholders.\n\nCoordinate cargo pick-ups and deliveries, including local transport arrangements and warehouse interactions.\n\nOverall job managementincluding WIPS, accruals, costs and closures.\n\nTimely and accurate processing of customer invoices, reports and creditor approvals.\n\nMaintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems (e.g., CargoWise One).\n\nEnsure compliance withcountrycustoms, quarantine, and maritime regulations.\n\nRespond to customer inquiries, provide booking confirmations, and maintain strong client relationships through timely communication.\n\nManage invoicing, cost allocations, and creditor approvals; identify opportunities for rate reviews and cost control.\n\nDemonstrate commercial awareness by understanding job profitability and contributing to financial performance.\n\nPrevious Work Experience& Qualifications\n1-3 years’ experience inoceanoperations\n\nUnderstanding ofcountrycustoms and air cargo regulations.\n\nFamiliarity with freight management systems and Microsoft Office.\n\nStrong organisational and communication skills.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\n\nDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.\n\nTeam player with a proactive and customer-focused approach.\n\nWillingness to learn and take on varied operational tasks.\n\nWhat moves you?\nAt Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
