This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have direct influence over operational performance, customer relationships, people leadership, and financial outcomes.\nYou'll be responsible for leading a major transport operation, driving service performance, developing your team, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the operation consistently delivers on its safety, financial, and service commitments. You'll also play a key role in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and operational growth.\nDuties and Responsibilities / a day in the life of the Operations Manager -\nLead the day-to-day transport operation to deliver outstanding customer service and operational performance.\n\nManage and develop operational teams, creating a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with Coles and key stakeholders.\n\nDrive KPI achievement, including maintaining industry-leading service levels and on-time delivery performance.\n\nOversee operational budgets, forecasting and P&L performance.\n\nEnsure compliance with Chain of Responsibility, HSE requirements and all relevant legislation.\n\nLead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, profitability and customer outcomes.\n\nCoach, mentor and develop future leaders within the business.\n\nWhat You'll Need to Succeed:\nYou are a proven transport or logistics leader with experience managing large operational teams across multiple sites. You are equally comfortable leading people, solving operational challenges and engaging with senior stakeholders.\nWhat we're looking for:\nYou'll be someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and leading from the front.\nStrong experience leading transport, logistics or supply chain operations.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasting and operational financial performance.\n\nExperience driving KPI performance and service delivery outcomes.\n\nProven leadership capability with experience managing and developing large teams.\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.\n\nThe ability to identify opportunities, improve processes and deliver operational efficiencies.\n\nWhat moves you?\nAt Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
