We offer integrated value-based logistics solutions that bring greater operating efficiency and savings to our customers’ supply chains.\nOperations Supervisor - Steel Transport - Chullora, NSW\nJob Description / The Role -\nAs part of our Steel Transport operation, we're looking for an experienced and safety-focused Operations Supervisor to lead daily transport activities and ensure outstanding service delivery for our customers. Based in Chullora, this role is critical in coordinating drivers, subcontractors, fleet resources and customer requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and operational performance.\nReporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating day-to-day transport operations to ensure customer commitments are met safely, efficiently and reliably. You'll work closely with drivers, subcontractors, customers and service providers to deliver strong operational outcomes while promoting a positive safety culture across the business.\nKey Responsibilities, but not limited to -\nPlan and allocate company and subcontractor fleet to meet daily customer requirements.\nCoordinate pickups, deliveries, backloads and timeslots to ensure seamless operations.\nMonitor fleet utilisation, DIFOT performance and service delivery outcomes.\nBuild strong relationships with customers, drivers and subcontractors through proactive communication.\nEnsure compliance with CoR, fatigue, mass, speed and load restraint requirements.\nLead safety activities including load restraint audits, workplace inspections and incident investigations.\nSupport driver training, inductions and competency management while maintaining accurate transport system records.\nWhat We’re Looking for to Drive Success -\nProven experience in transport and logistics operations, with a strong understanding of fleet coordination.\nSound knowledge of transport management systems and Chain of Responsibility compliance.\nAbility to manage drivers, subcontractors and daily operational demands in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.\nExcellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive safety focus.\nThe ability to make sound operational decisions and lead by example in safety and service delivery.\nWhy Join Toll?\nSafety is at the heart of everything we do.
