We are proudly part of Japan Post - www.tollgroup.com\nThe HR Systems Specialist is responsible for the delivery, support, optimisation, and continuous improvement of the organisation's HR technology solutions (Workday). The role acts as a functional subject matter expert, partnering with HR stakeholders, HR Services, IT teams, and Application Management Support (AMS) team to deliver system enhancements, resolve complex issues, and ensure the effective operation of HR systems.\nThe role balances both Business-as-Usual (BAU) support and project delivery activities, contributing to Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, release activities, user enablement, and process optimisation.\nAct as the main HR systems expert for assigned system modules and business processes, providing advice and support to stakeholders on how the system should be used.\nWork with HR stakeholders and business teams to understand their needs and document requirements for system improvements and changes.\nDesign practical system solutions that meet business requirements and follow agreed standards and processes.\nDeliver system enhancements and improvements, ensuring changes are completed on time and achieve the intended business outcomes.\nAssess how proposed changes may impact other processes, teams, or system functionality and identify any risks that need to be managed.\nPlan and complete testing activities to ensure system changes work as expected and meet business requirements before they are released.\nInvestigate and resolve complex system issues, identify the root cause, and recommend long-term solutions to prevent issues from recurring.\nWork closely with the Application Management Support (AMS) provider to support system releases, deployments, technical investigations, and issue resolution activities.\nMonitor system performance and user feedback and identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the user experience.\nCreate and maintain clear documentation, including process guides, operating procedures, knowledge articles, and solution documentation, and share knowledge with other team members.\nEvaluate new Workday features and capabilities, identify potential business benefits, and support the testing and adoption of suitable enhancements.\nIDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nDeep functional knowledge of HRIS systems and HR technology (experience specifically in Workday configuration is strongly preferred).\nExperience gathering and documenting business requirements.\nStrong configuration and system administration experience.\nExperience supporting system enhancements and projects.\nExperience executing system testing and UAT activities.\nExperience analysing worker data and managing, testing and loading bulk worker data uploads.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlines.\nExperience working with outsourced managed service providers.\nExperience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.\nKnowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.\nExposure to reporting and analytics tools.\nExperience supporting organizations with complex workforce structures.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience with HR Information Systems.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience configuring business process and system administration.\nProficient in Microsoft Office.\nWhat moves you?\nAt Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
