Partnering closely with the Purchasing and Warehousing teams, this role identifies process inefficiencies, supports value stream mapping efforts and drives continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste, improve data integrity and strengthen operational performance. The Data Analyst also supports broader analytical projects and ensures Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions are clear, current and aligned with how work is performed. This role requires strong analytical abilities, a thorough understanding of business processes and a passion for continuous improvement.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nExtract, analyze and interpret data from the ERP system to identify trends, gaps and opportunities that improve Purchasing and Warehousing performance.\nUpdate, maintain and validate ERP data to ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity; identify root causes of data errors and implement corrective actions.\nPartner with the Purchasing and Warehousing teams to identify, prioritize and implement continuous improvement opportunities.\nFacilitate value stream mapping of current-state and future-state processes to identify waste, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.\nDevelop data-driven recommendations for process improvements and support implementation, including tracking results and sustaining gains. \nReview, revise and maintain SOPs and work instructions to ensure documentation is accurate, clear, consistent with current business processes and compliant with applicable change-control requirements. \nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor process performance and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.\nIntegrate data from multiple sources to produce the requested or required data elements.\nSupport other analytical projects across Supply Chain and cross-functional teams, as needed.\nPerform ad-hoc reporting and projects, as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong knowledge of ERP systems, including data extraction, analysis and maintenance.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint; experience with Smartsheet and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred.\nWorking knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies, including value stream mapping and root cause analysis.\nUnderstanding of purchasing and warehousing processes.\nAbility to write and revise clear, well-structured SOPs and work instructions.\nStrong ability to think analytically, apply analytical techniques and provide in-depth analysis and recommendations.\nStrong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.\nAbility to prioritize action items, organize effectively and manage deadlines.\nAbility to work independently and be self-motivated, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.\nAbility to work and communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with employees at all levels of the organization, including executive level personnel.\nAbility to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations.\nCore Values\nThis position is expected to operate within the framework of Tolmar’s Core Values:\nCenter on People: We commit to support the well-being of our patients.
