This position supports material availability and responsible inventory levels while maintaining the MRO storage areas as a secure, organized and controlled environment.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nProcess requisitions and purchase orders for materials, goods, and services required by Maintenance and Engineering, including purchases supporting capital projects.\nOrder parts and supplies for urgent repairs, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and planned work.\nObtain and evaluate supplier quotes; coordinate pricing, lead times, availability, and delivery expectations.\nCoordinate with vendors and Tolmar Legal to facilitate the routing, completion, tracking, and maintenance of supplier agreements and supporting documentation, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs).\nPartner with Purchasing to ensure the accuracy of MRP-generated purchase orders and resolve questions or discrepancies related to pending orders.\nCoordinate with Warehouse and Receiving to resolve receiving and invoicing issues related to MRO parts and materials.\nTrack open orders, expedite critical items, verify receipts against purchase orders, and resolve quantity, pricing, specification, or delivery discrepancies.\nCreate, update, and retire inventory records, including MRO part numbers, descriptions, approved stocking parameters, and storage locations.\nMaintain clean, orderly, and secure MRO storage areas so parts, consumables, and equipment are accurately labeled, properly stored, and readily accessible in accordance with established requirements.\nMonitor material availability and communicate shortages, backorders, substitutions, or delivery risks to affected stakeholders.\nSupport Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing in negotiating supplier pricing, lead times, and delivery terms.\nPerform scheduled cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and complete required adjustments to maintain inventory accuracy.\nDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and service providers.\nIdentify and support improvements to purchasing, inventory accuracy, stockroom organization, and material flow.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nWorking knowledge of purchasing, receiving, inventory control, stockroom operations, and supplier coordination.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accurate records and transactions.\nAbility to prioritize urgent material requirements while managing routine replenishment and other job responsibilities.\nAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively across departments.\nAbility to follow established procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and perform assigned responsibilities in a regulated manufacturing environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong computer skills including MS Office applications.\nCore Values\nThis position is expected to operate within the framework of Tolmar’s Core Values:\nCenter on People: We commit to support the well-being of our patients and treat our employees and those we serve as valued partners. We strive to deliver our best as we shape the future.\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\nAt least one year of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, purchasing, or inventory-control environment required.\nExperience supporting industrial maintenance, MRO purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, or a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.\nWorking Conditions\nWork is performed in office, stockroom, warehouse, and industrial maintenance environments.\nWork may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.\nCompensation and Benefits\nPay: $25.50 - $26.50 per hour depending on experience \nBenefits information: https://www.tolmar.com/careers/employee-benefits\nTolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package.
