In this role, you will contribute to the integrity of our financial data, support key reporting processes, enhance internal controls, and play an important part in driving operational excellence.\nLocation: Las Condes, Santiago Chile\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounting & Financial Reporting:\nProcessing and posting monthly depreciation and amortization entries.\nSupporting the verification, allocation, and posting of accruals and provisions accurately and on a timely basis, according to Senior Accountant requests.\nReconciling general ledger accounts and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of financial data.\nPerforming month-end and year-end closing activities, including the review of balance sheet accounts, accruals, reclassifications, and supporting documentation.\nPreparing agent commission reports for Projects, Services, and Spare Parts, while monitoring provisions and proposing payments when conditions are met.\nPerforming month-end import operations closing and reviewing documentation to ensure all import transactions are accurately and timely recorded.\nUploading daily bank transactions and supporting cash flow monitoring and reporting activities.\nMonitoring and following up on AR/AP parked payments.\nManaging and maintaining vendor master data, including payment terms, tax details, banking information, and supporting documentation for vendor creation and modifications.\nProviding financial data, explanations, and analysis as requested by management.\nSupporting internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.\nSafeguarding confidential financial information in line with company policies and data handling standards.\nControls, Compliance & Continuous Improvement:\nIn addition to financial reporting responsibilities, you will contribute to strengthening processes, compliance, and operational excellence by:\nEnsuring compliance with accounting policies, local tax regulations, internal controls, and agreed finance operating models.\nSupporting segregation of duties by adhering to established finance control frameworks.\n What We're Looking For:\nTo succeed in this role, you will bring a combination of accounting expertise, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. We're looking for someone who has:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, including general ledger postings, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting support, vendor master data management, and business analysis. LATAM or regional finance exposure is preferred.\nFluency in both English and Spanish.
