Our teams are empowered to make a real impact through innovation, responsibility, and a shared commitment to sustainability.\nWe are currently seeking for a Field Service Engineer in Mining Service based in the Denver region responsible for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our systems at customer sites.\nThe role involves extensive travel (150-180 days/year) across North America to remote customer sites, supporting equipment performance, providing remote assistance, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.\nPerform field service activities, including the installation, commissioning, testing, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and upgrade of sorting equipment.\nDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term success.\nMaintain a regular on-site presence to ensure customer service level agreements are consistently achieved.\nTrain and support customer maintenance and service personnel to ensure effective equipment operation and maintenance.\nEnsure field service activities are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.\nDeliver technical phone support and field response to customer and equipment issues, including participation in a rostered weekend on-call schedule.\nDrive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and providing feedback to enhance quality, efficiency, and profitability\nCoordinate with customers and internal project teams to support the successful integration of TOMRA sorting equipment, from point of sale through to commissioning and post-commissioning activities.\nCollaborate with internal teams, including Applications and Engineering Design, both within North America and internationally, to support customer and project requirements.\nContribute to a positive workplace culture by demonstrating and promoting professional, collaborative behaviours.\nAn engineering qualification or trade with a strong inclination towards hands on skills in mechanical and electrical systems, both hardware and software.\nAn electrical qualification or trade would be highly advantageous\nAbility to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently\n>3 years proven experience in field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex technical equipment\nCustomer-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills\nWillingness to travel extensively across North America and occasionally internationally (approx. 150-180 days per year) \nFluency in spoken and written English \nOther languages like Spanish are advantageous\nComfortable using digital tools, service reporting systems, and remote diagnostics\nValid Drivers licence\nValid authority to work in US\nWhat Makes You Successful\nYou are someone who:\nEnjoys solving complex technical problems.\nThrives in a customer-facing environment.\nTakes ownership and works effectively without close supervision.\nCommunicates technical information in a clear and practical way.\nAdapts quickly to changing priorities and challenging situations.\nIs motivated by delivering outstanding customer experiences.\nHas a genuine passion for engineering and technology.\nWhat we offer\nAnnual performance bonus opportunity.\nOvertime is compensated at 1.5x the applicable hourly rate in accordance with local regulations.\nDaily travel allowance while on assignment.\nComprehensive health insurance options.\nCompany credit card provided for business travel.\nAll required tools, workwear and safety equipment provided.\nPay Band\nFor U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated annual base pay range for the Field Service Engineer position is $70,000 - $85,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
