We are looking for a Field Service Engineer* based in Southern or Central Poland, preferably in the area of Katowice, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, or Warsaw.
As part of our Service Team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of our advanced sorting systems, ensuring maximum uptime and customer satisfaction. This role combines technical expertise, customer interaction, and the opportunity to travel while contributing to a more sustainable future through innovative recycling solutions.
Main tasks are
- Field service work (commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance and repair) predominantly for Recycling in Germany and Europe, but also tasks in other TOMRA Sorting business streams and geographical regions may occur
- Provides detailed field reports that are useful for the whole organisation after every installation or technical intervention
- Takes care of a timely reporting of activities, costs and other reporting
- Training of customer maintenance and service personnel on site as well as TSS Service Engineers
- Providing on call technical phone support and field response to equipment and customer issues
- Give support to Sales and Project Management
- Ensuring the maximum performance of the TOMRA Sorting systems in the field to satisfy the customers
- Responsible for an effective field service work in terms of costs and timing
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Alternatively, a technical qualification with relevant field service experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar field service, maintenance, technical support, or industrial service role.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to customers and colleagues.
- Customer-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Hands-on approach, willingness to travel, and a passion for technology and engineering.
- Fluent in Polish and good English, both written and spoken.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
