We focus as much on market and commercial development, as we do on the technical development for our solutions.\nIf you love challenging convention and imagining how the future may look, this is your chance.\nIn this role you will:\nThis role will see you mechanically designing and developing world leading multi-disciplinary products for TOMRA sorting machines. This includes:\nDefine detailed design specifications\nProject plan by making time and cost estimates for projects\nConceptual and mechanic design and modelling of new products, modules and components\nGuide internal design members to build and maintain all mining products, especially mechanical and electrical designer, draftsmen and technical writer\nRun external design actions and observe, guide and validate the results\nDefine of mechanical quality requirements on mechanical parts\nWrite test plans, implement testing, and write reports with conclusions and recommendations\nIdentification and communication with suppliers\nBuild prototypes in a cost and production effective manner\nTechnical Support for manufacturers, supplier, service and sales\nProvide technical advice and weighing in on decisions that impact projects\n About you\nThis role will see you liaising with professionals throughout our organisation from Sales Engineering, R&D, Assembly and Purchasing.
