Kitchen Manager responsibilities include supervising the food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory and complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage our kitchen staff and guide them to deliver quality food on time. Ultimately, you will ensure all plates are properly cooked and served and our customers have a pleasant dining experience.\nRESPONSIBILITES:\nManage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders\nSupervise food prep and cooking\nCheck food plating and temperature\nSchedule kitchen staff shifts\nOrder food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed\nTrain kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques\nStore food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)\nKeep weekly and monthly cost reports\nMaintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nRepeated bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 lbs required\nRepeated lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs cases of liquor, glasses, trash cans, mopping and sweeping\nAbility to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairs\nAbility to manage a diverse work environment\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nProven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef\nHands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients\nKnowledge of a wide range of recipes\nFamiliarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations\nExcellent organizational skills\nConflict management abilities\nAbility to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment\nFlexibility to work during evenings and
