with a mentor to guide you\nHelp build reports and dashboards that show how AI tools are used across TomTom and what they cost\nLook into how engineers can get good results from AI tools while using fewer tokens, and share simple tips and tooling with them\nHelp improve our model gateway, for example by adding usage tracking or making it easier for teams to try new models\nTake part in trying out new AI developer tools and help write down what works and what does not\nSupport the pilot of our AI-assisted ways of working with engineering teams, for example by collecting feedback and usage numbers\nBuild iteratively using agile methodologies, and learn how a platform team works day to day\nWhat you'll need:\nBeing enrolled in a Dutch university until at least September 2027, so the entire duration of the internship\nBeing located in Amsterdam or cities close by to be able to commute to the office at least twice a week\nAvailable for at least 32h/week\nGood Python skills\nSome experience using AI coding assistants or LLM APIs, for example in coursework or a side project\nBasic knowledge of working with data (SQL, pandas or similar)\nNice to have: experience with GitHub Actions, APIs or a cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)\nSolid Computer Science fundamentals\nComfortable with written and/or verbal communication in English\nCurious about AI and eager to
