SpinLab's goal is not just to collect data but to transform it into meaningful business insights that improve efficiency and help products grow.\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyze large volumes of game and player data to identify patterns, trends, and dynamics, and turn them into clear business conclusions.\n\nTranslate findings into practical recommendations for product improvements, highlighting what works, what doesn’t, and what opportunities to explore\n\nPerform deep-dive investigations into performance anomalies or game features to explain what happened and why\n\nCollaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Product Managers to shape hypotheses, validate them with data, and contribute hands-on to data science development tasks.\n\nDevelop robust statistical and causal inference analyses to identify drivers of user behavior.\n\nContribute to the development and validation of predictive models, including feature engineering, dataset preparation, model evaluation, and A/B testing, in collaboration with Data Scientists.\n\nCommunicate complex insights in a simple, compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nHelp define metrics for new products or features, expanding high-level requirements with your analytical thinking and product insights.\n\nBuild dashboards and reports to help stakeholders monitor key KPIs and make data-driven decisions\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.\n\n5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, preferably in the gaming or tech industry.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset; ability to find the story in the data: uncovering trends and explaining them in clear business terms.\n\nExperience working with large datasets and distributed computing tools (BigQuery, Spark, Hive, or similar).\n\nStrong hands-on experience with SQL for complex queries and data wrangling.\n\nSolid data visualization skills (Tableau/Power BI) and advanced Python, with practical experience using common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn).\n\nStrong experience of experimental design and statistical testing (A/B testing, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals).\n\nWorking knowledge of machine learning fundamentals (supervised learning, feature engineering, training/validation, evaluation metrics) and familiarity with causal inference and uplift modeling.\n\nHands-on experience contributing to ML workflows or model development, with the ability to implement and test well-scoped tasks alongside Data Scientists.\n\nPractical experience using AI coding assistants or other AI tools in day-to-day work, with a focus on automation, efficiency, and output quality.\n\nEnglish B2+\n\nWill be a plus:\nKnowledge of the iGaming industry or understanding of slot game mechanics\n\nAbility to look at games from players' point of view\n\nProduct mindset: the ability to go beyond numbers and propose actionable solutions that make an impact.\n\nBenefits:\nFlexible schedule with remote mode.\n\n25 working days of vacation.\n\n15 sick leaves.\n\n1 paid day off for celebrating your birthday.\n\nPaid Ukrainian National Holidays.\n\nMedical insurance is provided after completing the probation period (3 months from the start date).\n\nBudget for education.\n\nPaid for individual English classes.\n\nTechnical equipment that meets the working needs.\n\nIf this role sounds like a fit - we’d love to hear from you!
