Conduct local consumables purchasing;\nMonitor estimated delivery dates and proactively deal with Suppliers to ensure timely deliveries;\nCommunicate with local employees and TA Logistics to manage and mitigate impact of overdue orders;\nReceive merchandise from different sources;\nConduct in-coming inspection, then store appropriately and populate the inventory system accordingly;\nCollaborate with TA Log staff and suppliers to ensure vendor quality assurance;\nPrepare items for shipping (packing), respect special packaging instruction if required;\nAdhere to DG and CG shipping requirements. Be prepared to support routine cross border shipments;\nSupport TA safety programs and Quality Management System;\nProvide ISC support to deployed operations, under supervision of deployed Maintenance Lead;\nPrepare part kits for maintenance personnel;\nAttend training courses to ensure continued qualifications;\nAssist in the on-the job training and instruction of personnel as required; and\nPerform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.\nSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:\nAs detailed by your Base Manager/Lead, Maintenance and approved by DOM\nEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:\nPrevious experience with shipping/receiving and/or inventory/stores management;\nPrevious military or commercial aviation logistics experience a significant asset;\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.\nExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook).
