Deliver Useful Software\nDevelop, test, and ship features that support accessible digital health services across Receptive’s brands.\nBuild and maintain full-stack applications and integrations using Webflow, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS.\nWork with product and business partners to understand needs, clarify requirements, and turn problems into practical technical solutions.\nOwn Your Work from Development through Delivery\nTake responsibility for getting agreed-upon features production-ready, from technical planning through implementation, testing, deployment, and follow-up.\nBreak work into manageable increments, communicate progress and tradeoffs, and work through roadblocks, bringing in teammates when needed to keep delivery moving.\nInvestigate bugs and production issues, address underlying causes, and improve the reliability and performance of the systems you work on.\nStrengthen Engineering Quality and Ways of Working\nWrite clear, maintainable code and review pull requests to identify defects, surface risks, and maintain consistency across the codebase.\nUse AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing while remaining accountable for the quality and security of your work.\nSupport quality assurance through automated and hands-on testing, regression checks, and clear defect documentation; verify fixes and help assess release readiness.\nCollaborate with teammates, share knowledge, and apply appropriate security and privacy practices when working with sensitive healthcare information.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a product or technology-enabled services company.\nProficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with experience building and maintaining APIs and applications deployed on AWS.\nAbility to work across application layers and learn the tools needed to deliver a complete solution.\nExperience writing automated tests, performing hands-on functional and regression testing, and contributing to deployment workflows and reliable production systems.\nPractical experience using AI-assisted development tools, with the judgment to review, test, and validate their output.\nStrong problem-solving skills and sound judgment about scope, quality, speed, and maintainability.\nClear communication, collaborative working habits, and the ability to move work forward independently while seeking input when needed.\nExperience working in a growing company where priorities and processes can shift and evolve, sometimes quickly.\nCuriosity, openness to feedback, and a commitment to improving both your work and the way the team builds software.\n What Helps You Stand Out\nRelevant experience in healthcare tech, HIPAA, or another highly regulated industry.\nHands-on, working experience with Healthie, GraphQL, or Webflow.\nData warehousing, Snowflake, business intelligence, or reporting tools.\nFamiliarity with collaboration and project management tools such as Asana and Notion.\nWhere You’ll Work & What You’ll Receive\nReceptive is a remote-first company.\n\nThe target base salary range for this role is $140,000-$175,000, depending on experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other business considerations.\n\nFull-time, US-based employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage with generous employer contributions (Receptive covers 100% of the premium for an employee’s coverage), a 401k with 4% employer match, monthly wellness stipend, annual L&D budget, flexible
