Solutions Is Our Middle Name. \nAbout the Role\nTopcon Solutions is seeking a technically skilled construction professional to join our Software Services team as an Autodesk Construction Software Technical Specialist.\nIn this role, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert for Autodesk Forma Build and related construction project management workflows. You’ll work directly with customers to understand how they manage their projects, configure and implement Autodesk solutions, deliver training and consulting, and help project teams successfully adopt the technology.\nThe ideal candidate combines hands-on construction industry knowledge with strong technical aptitude. You understand how projects operate in the real world and can translate those processes into practical, efficient technology workflows.\nYou’ll collaborate with customers, sales teams, technical specialists, and other internal stakeholders throughout the customer journey, from technical discovery and demonstrations through implementation, training, and ongoing adoption.\nWhat You’ll Do\nServe as a subject matter expert for Autodesk Forma Build and construction project management workflows.\nLead customer demonstrations, technical discovery, implementations, training, and ongoing support.\nConfigure project and account settings, templates, permissions, and administrative standards.\nHelp customers set up and deploy new projects within the Autodesk platform.\nDesign and optimize workflows involving: Project documents and file management Sheets and drawings RFIs and submittals Issues and forms Meetings and daily logs Field reporting Assets and project closeout Reporting and dashboards\nFacilitate discovery sessions to understand customer processes, business requirements, and adoption challenges.\nEvaluate existing construction workflows and recommend improvements and best practices.\nDevelop implementation strategies, standardized project templates, and repeatable processes.\nProvide administrator and end-user training to project teams.\nHelp customers successfully adopt new technology and workflows.\nPartner with sales and customer success teams on technical discovery, demonstrations, and solution recommendations.\nCollaborate with other technical specialists when customer needs span multiple Autodesk products or construction workflows.\nDevelop and maintain implementation documentation, training materials, best practices, and internal service offerings.\nStay current on Autodesk product developments and construction technology trends.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nProfessional experience in the construction industry, particularly in roles such as: Project Engineer Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager Superintendent Construction Technology Specialist\nStrong understanding of construction project management processes, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, document control, field reporting, and project closeout.\nExperience with Autodesk Forma Build or comparable construction project management software.\nFamiliarity with platforms such as Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, or similar construction technology applications is a plus.\nExperience configuring, administering, implementing, or supporting construction technology platforms is preferred.\nExperience training and supporting end users.\nAbility to lead customer discovery conversations and translate business requirements into effective technology workflows.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.\nAbility to manage multiple customer engagements and priorities.\nBachelor’s degree preferred but not required.\nOccasional business travel required.\nWho Will Be Successful in This Role\nThis position would be a strong fit for someone who has worked in construction project management and discovered that they are particularly interested in the technology side of construction.\nYou may be a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Superintendent, or Construction Technology professional who has become the go-to person for project software and enjoys helping others use technology more effectively.\nThe best fit will be someone who is comfortable with customers, credible with construction professionals, technically curious, and able to turn real-world construction challenges into practical software solutions.\nBase Pay:\nExpected Base Pay Range: $105,000 to $150,000 Annualized\nThe base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
