Compensation and progression level will be based on candidate’s experience and education, and current business needs.\nSummary Description:\nAs a division of TOPPAN Packaging Americas - Trident create digital packaging assets for some of the most recognisable brands in the world. Our dynamic, innovative team works with FMCG brands to prepare packaging artworks for mass print production. A digitally focused company, we continuously strive to stay at the forefront of our field, designing and developing our own cutting-edge technologies and powerful systems. This ensures that we are constantly driving our business forward and offering our customers the highest quality service, whether this is retouching media ready for print or crafting a 3D image for E-commerce sites.\nThe Artworker role is responsible for producing digital artworks, reprographics and colour separations for all print disciplines.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nArtwork Production\nBuilds artwork files in adherence with the business’ standard working practices & client’s brand rules.\nEnsures Right First Time quality performance is achieved.\nCollaborates with multiple functions to service the client.\nCreates print trial files and carries out colour retouching/colour correction for all print disciplines.\nBrand Guardianship\nOwns the brand guidelines; including their creation, amendment and periodical review.\nEnsures brand consistency is maintained throughout the full project range across all production locations.\nProject Management\nRepresents the artwork production team in the planning of projects.\nLeads the artist team in the completion of projects from receipt of brief to delivery of data within contractual KPI.\nContinuous Improvement\nSeeks ways to optimise process to improve quality and delivery.\nPromotes best practice and continuous improvement within the team.\nLeads and supports with production initiatives.\nParticipates in root cause and corrective action investigations.\nLeads the artist team with the introduction of technology changes from User Acceptance Testing to deployment.\nCoaching & Development\nGuides and advises less experienced members of the team.\nIdentifies and discusses issues with relevant team members.\nClient Interaction\nDelivers customer demonstrations.\nParticipates in client meetings.\nParticipates in the implementation of new business.\nThis is a HYBRID position located out of our Cincinnati OH Office\nWe’d love to hear from you if:\nExperience in packaging artwork production.\nUse of software applications used in artwork packaging production such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office.\nDetailed understanding of print processes and reprographics application.\nAbility to adapt a design to different components / sizes in keeping with design intent.\nAbility to perform colour retouching for multiple print disciplines.Making a visual change to images (cosmetic retouching).\nColour retouching/correction with special colours (or Extended Colour Gamut), considering the impact of screen angles.\nColour retouching/correction ensuring an image is fit for the flexographic print process.\n\nAbility to visually inspect two samples and understand what retouching/corrections are needed to get the closest possible match.\nAbility to interpret complex guideline documents.\nCommunication skills particularly listening, verbal and written.\nAbility to build relationships at all levels.\nTeam working skills.\nAbility to plan, prioritise and organise.\nTime Management skills to respond to a dynamic work environment.\nCoaching skills.\nProactive problem solving.\nAt TOPPAN Packaging Americas, We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support our employees’ overall wellbeing.
