This ensures that we are constantly driving our business forward and offering our customers the highest quality service, whether this is retouching media ready for print or crafting a 3D image for E-commerce sites.\nPosition Summary:\nResponsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications and production tools that support CGI, 3D graphics, rendering, digital content workflows, and DevOps practices. The role works closely with technical, creative, and operational teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions that improve visual production processes, automate manual tasks, support the creation, management, and delivery of 3D assets and imagery, and contribute to stable, secure, and efficient build, deployment, and operational processes.\nThis role is permanent and full-time (35 hours per week) with 2 days in the office (Hull, UK) and 3 working from home.\nResponsibilities of a Developer - CGI are:\nEnsure compliance with Trident Health & Safety policies and procedures.\nDevelop and maintain software applications, tools, and integrations to support CGI, 3D graphics, rendering, and production workflows.\nCollaborate with developers, artists, designers, and production teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.\nWrite, test, review, and debug high-quality, maintainable code following industry best practices.\nParticipate in Agile development processes and contribute to DevOps activities, including CI/CD and deployment automation.\nSupport cloud and production environments by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and improving system reliability.\nDevelop and maintain databases, data models, and asset management systems that support digital production workflows.\nSupport and optimise rendering pipelines, graphics workflows, and 3D asset processes, while providing technical documentation and user support.\nWho are we looking for?\nBachelor’s degree in ‘Computer Science’ or Related Field, or equivalent on-job experience. (RQF Level 5)\n3+ years' software development experience, with strong programming skills, DevOps/CI/CD knowledge, and exposure to cloud technologies. Experience in CGI, 3D graphics, rendering, or creative production environments preferred.\nStrong knowledge of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and development methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).\nExperience developing software for CGI, 3D graphics, rendering, visualisation, or digital content production environments.\nUnderstanding of 3D production tools and workflows, including modelling, rendering, asset management, and pipeline optimisation.\nProficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, or C++ to improve production processes.\nExperience with DevOps, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, deployment automation, and production support.\nStrong technical and communication skills, with experience in front-end development, databases, version control\nWhat will we provide for you?\nYou will get to work for a company that is proud of who we are, what we do and how we treat our people - and become part of our Trident DNA.
