This ensures that we are constantly driving our business forward and offering our customers the highest quality service, whether this is retouching media ready for print or crafting a 3D image for E-commerce sites.\nYour new role:\nResponsible for developing and maintaining software applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.\nThis role is permanent and full-time (35 hours per week) with 2 days in the office (Hull, UK) and 3 working from home.\nResponsibilities of a Developer are:\nEnsuring that all activities performed are executed in strict accordance with Trident's Health and Safety Policy. \nDevelop and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design, develop and deliver high-quality software products.\nWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and standards.\nParticipate in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.\nKeep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and identify opportunities to implement them in our products.\nDevelop and maintain data models and database schemas.\nWork collaboratively with other developers on the team to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.\nAssist with code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and functionality.\nWrite technical documentation and provide support for end-users.\nProvide out-of-hours assistance to senior member of the team during production-affecting incidents.\nWho are we looking for?\nBachelor’s degree in ‘Computer Science’ or Related Field, or equivalent on-job experience. (RQF Level 5)\n3+ years of experience in software development, with demonstrated proficiency in multiple programming languages such as C++, Python, JavaScript, or C#.\nStrong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.\nExperience with software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.\nExperience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with databases such as MSSQL, CosmosDB, and Redis.\nDemonstrated ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code.\nExperience with front-end development frameworks such as Blazor, React, AngularJS.\n\nWhat will we provide for you?\nYou will get to work for a company that is proud of who we are, what we do and how we treat our people - and become part of our Trident DNA.
