This position requires strong hands-on technical expertise, troubleshooting ability, and a proactive mindset to support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.\nThis is an opportunity to join a stable, growing organization where your technical skill, curiosity, and problem-solving ability make a direct impact on operations.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nHands-On Equipment Mastery\nInstall and maintain electrical components for equipment including gas mixers, burners, de-ionized water units, air compressors, plant air circulation systems, heating and cooling units, ultrasonic cleaners, waxers, and plant lighting\n\nTroubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems involving PLCs, sensors, actuators, motors, drives, and mechanical assemblies\n\nDiagnostics & Advanced Problem-Solving\nDiagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, mechanical drawings, diagnostic tools, and technical expertise\n\nProgram and modify PLC logic to improve equipment performance and support process improvements\n\nIdentify inefficiencies and propose solutions to support continuous improvement initiatives\n\nMaintenance & Reliability Leadership\nPerform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan\n\nAssist with new equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities\n\nSafety, Communication & Teamwork\nPromote and maintain safe working conditions while following all safety guidelines\n\nWork closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to support operations\n\nAccurately document completed work and communicate effectively across departments\n\nWe’d Love to Hear From You If\nEducation & Experience\nTechnical training typically gained through an Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electromechanical maintenance\n\n2+ years of experience working with electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment\n\nTechnical Strengths\nExperience troubleshooting and programming PLCs (Rockwell AutomationAllen-Bradley and Siemenspreferred)\n\nExperience with HMI systems and industrial electrical networking\n\nHands-on knowledge of AC/DC motors, high-voltage equipment, drives, and servo systems\n\nExperience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems\n\nAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings\n\nComfortable using electrical test equipment, multimeters, and mechanical tools\n\nKnowledge & Abilities\nFamiliarity with NEC standards and industrial safety processes including lockout/tagout, confined space, and hazardous materials\n\nStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills using electrical and mechanical logic\n\nProactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication and reliability\n\nAt TOPPAN Packaging Americas, We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support our employees’ overall wellbeing.
