This position works closely with Laminator Operators and other production team members to prepare equipment, stage materials, assist with machine changeovers, and maintain production readiness.\nThe ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong teamwork, attention to quality, and a willingness to learn while supporting daily production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLaminating Operations & Production Support\nAssist Laminator Operators with daily production activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.\nRead and understand production dockets, job specifications, and operating instructions.\nPrepare and stage materials needed for current and upcoming production jobs, including cores, glue, catalysts, and other required supplies.\nLoad material and polyethylene film onto the unwinder.\nChange rolls on both unwind stations and the rewind station, ensuring materials are properly prepared for transportation.\nEnsure rolls and cores are properly aligned before and during production.\nPerform material splices to support continuous production operations.\nOperate the roll manipulator to safely handle and position materials.\nMonitor and maintain production run lists.\nWeigh and mix adhesive batches according to established procedures and maintain accurate records.\nPerform raw material testing as needed.\nCommunicate and coordinate with incoming and outgoing shifts to ensure smooth production transitions.\nProvide backup support to the Laminator Operator when needed.\nEquipment Setup, Cleaning & Maintenance\nAssist Operators with make-ready procedures, equipment preparation, and production changeovers.\nSupport cylinder changes, cleaning of arm holders and floors, webbing up the press, and adjusting tape positions.\nPerform Chromac cleaning and maintenance-related activities as required.\nClean and maintain production components, including splashguards, cylinders, pumps, blades, cylinder pans, toppers, drain hoses, and stir sticks.\nWash machine parts and maintain a clean, organized wash-up area.\nPerform routine maintenance housekeeping activities to support equipment performance and production readiness.\nClean machinery and surrounding work areas, including blowing out equipment, sweeping, and mopping floors.\nProperly label containers and materials for safe handling and storage.\nHelp maintain equipment cleanliness and organization to minimize production disruptions.\nSafety, Quality & Continuous Improvement\nFollow all company safety rules, regulations, and operating procedures.\nUse required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including cut-resistant gloves when handling blades or performing applicable tasks.\nFollow safe manufacturing practices when handling machinery, materials, adhesives, and production equipment.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.\nSupport product quality by following established production procedures and job specifications.\nParticipate in GPS (Global Production System) activities and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAttend required training sessions and seminars to develop technical knowledge and manufacturing skills.\nWork collaboratively with Operators, Production team members, and other departments to support operational goals.\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nWe’d Love to Hear From You If\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
