Engages machine to produce thermoformed parts and maintains continuous operation.\nPerforms troubleshooting and quality control checks.\nPerforms routine maintenance on thermoforming machines.\nCompletes required job tickets.\nWorks with Packer/Inspectors to resolve any quality issues as needed.\nDirects Packers/Inspectors to work in other areas when machine is down for troubleshooting or set up.\nMaintains a safe, clean and organized work area.\nPerforms other work duties or functions as assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAbility to continuously lift, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nLevel One:\nUses and reads calipers. \nSelf-starting, willing to learn, does other tasks as required. \nKnowledge about basic math and English skills to complete paperwork. \nHas good communication skills and is an active team member. \nMaintains a 97% attendance record. \nKeeps accurate daily box counts. \nRuns the specified number of parts on each job. \nMaintains a good working relationship with inspectors and operators. \nKnows and verifies specification requirements of each part. \nMaintains a safe, organized, and clean work area. \nAssists in setting up machines as needed\nThis is an onsite position located out of our Huntley, IL Facility\nWe’d love to hear from you if:\nYou have experience as a skilled manufacturing operator \n6 months of machine operator experience \nAbility to read, write, and perform math skills \nUnderstanding of manufacturing and quality control \nHigh school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
