The role assists in developing, maintaining, and communicating daily production schedules,\ncoordinating material availability, and ensuring inventory records accurately reflect manufacturing activity to\nsupport customer requirements and manufacturing priorities.\nWorking closely with Production, Quality, Shipping, Receiving, and Supply Chain personnel, this position serves as\nthe primary owner of inventory accuracy, inventory reconciliation, cycle count activities, material traceability, and\ninventory control processes. The role supports efficient production execution through effective material\nmanagement, schedule coordination, inventory oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive\noperational performance and customer service.\nDay-to-day responsibilities will include:\nERP Support & Training\n· Support daily IQMS transaction processing activities to ensure accurate inventory movements, material\ntransactions, and production-related system entries.\n· Assist employees with inventory transaction requirements, material movement procedures, and system\nprocesses to support transactional accuracy and compliance with established procedures.\n· Follow-up with Supply Chain Manager on IQMS training needs, system utilization opportunities, and process\nimprovement initiatives.\n· Maintain system documentation, work instructions, and training materials.\n· Assist with troubleshooting inventory and material transaction issues, escalating system-related concerns as\nappropriate.\n· Partner with the Production Planner to support ERP process improvements, transactional accuracy, and\neffective system utilization.\n· Provide transactional support for IQMS-related activities during employee absences, vacations, and\nbusiness demands.\nScheduling, Inventory & Coordination\n· Assist in developing, maintaining, and communicating daily and weekly production schedules based on\ncustomer demand, inventory availability, and manufacturing priorities.\n· Coordinate schedule changes, production priorities, and work-order sequencing with Production leadership and the Supply Chain Manager. · Create, release, and print job paperwork and labels as required by the production schedule. · Create and maintain new part numbers, inventory items, and related system records within IQMS, Crystal Reports, and other related software in accordance with established procedures. · Assist in the creation, maintenance, verification, and continuous improvement of Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and related manufacturing master data. · Support data validation activities to ensure BOM accuracy, inventory integrity, and alignment with manufacturing processes. · Coordinate material availability to support scheduled production and communicate shortages, excess inventory, or material-related concerns affecting production plans. · Coordinate cycle count activities for designated inventory groups, including scheduling, execution, variance investigation, corrective actions, and inventory accuracy improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Production Planner. · Partner with the Production Planner to investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and transactional integrity. · Manage inventory reconciliation activities and support corrective actions to resolve inventory discrepancies affecting raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods. · Coordinate inventory status changes, quality holds, material dispositions, and related transactions to ensure inventory accuracy and operational continuity. · Maintain traceability of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods through accurate inventory transactions, inventory controls, and material movement processes.
