Visit us at packaging.toppan.com\nSummary Description:\nWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll leader to manage and coordinate with our outsourced payroll provider The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing through our external partner, maintaining employee data integrity, and providing strategic insights through data analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of HR processes, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nPayroll Coordination:\nOversee and liaise with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing\nManage payroll schedules, deductions, and adjustments in collaboration with the external provider.\nResolve payroll discrepancies and respond to plant / employee inquiries\nCollaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.\nCompliance and Reporting:\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.\nPrepare and submit required payroll reports\nWork with third party partners to prepare tax filings and year-end activities.\nStay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.\nTeam Leadership & Support\nSupervise or support payroll specialists or coordinators\nProvide training, guidance, and performance feedback to payroll staff\nAct as a point of escalation for complex payroll issues\nReporting: Generate and analyze payroll to provide insights and support decision-making. Present findings to senior management.\nVendor Management: Liaise with outsourced payroll vendor to ensure service level agreements are met. Evaluate vendor performance and provide support in in contract negotiations.\nEmployee Support: Provide support to plants, HR team and employees regarding payroll inquiries. Conduct training sessions to educate employees on system usage.\nProject Management: Lead HR projects related to payroll, including system implementations and upgrades\nThis is an onsite position located out of Hartsville, SC or Charlotte, NC (South End) Office\nWe’d love to hear from you if:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in HR data management and payroll coordination.\nStrong knowledge of payroll processes, HRIS/HRCM systems, and relevant payroll/labor laws and regulations\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in HR software (Workday, ADP Lyric) and Microsoft Office Suite\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertification in Payroll (e.g., CPP) or HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR).\nExperience with data analysis and reporting tools.\nExperience managing payroll for a manufacturing or complex organization\nExposure to HRIS systems and integrations\nAt TOPPAN Packaging Americas, We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support our employees’ overall wellbeing.
