Visit us at packaging.toppan.com\nSummary Description:\nWhile reporting to the Technical Manager, you are accountable for new business development trials, scale up of new packaging structures, process development for these new items, and specification documentation. Responsibilities may also include equipment maintenance, operations, optimization and efficiency, planning and coordinating maintenance activities, training production operators, documentation of processes and procedures.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nWork closely with the plant operations to implement new procedures or processes to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and minimize costs\nWork closely with the Quality Manager and lab techs when products do not meet specification.\nWork in teams to improve product quality, or to reduce costs or related projects.\nUnderstand equipment functionality and troubleshoot when not performing to expectations.\nWork with operators to determine best process conditions, maintenance frequencies, etc. to ensure consistent operations.\nManage process monitoring through Ei3 by defining critical process parameters and establish acceptable ranges in Ei3.\nAnalyze and facilitate resolution of process problems with process improvement team members.\nProvide problem solving to plant related production issues.\nThis position is located at our Franklin, OH Facility and 100% onsite\nWe’d love to hear from you if:\nWe expect you to have a Bachelor’s degree in ChemE, ME, EE, Pkg Eng or other technical field.\nWe are looking for recent graduates or 1-5 years industry experience.\nIt is helpful for the candidate to have a good knowledge of rotogravure printing, extrusion and adhesive laminating, slitting, and laser scoring.\nAt TOPPAN Packaging Americas, We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support our employees’ overall wellbeing.
