This role supports production flow through machine operation, material handling, and quality verification.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nSet up and operate core cutting and roll wrapping equipment\nCut cores to required sizes and ensure proper supply for slitting jobs\nWeigh, label, and wrap finished rolls per job specifications\nPalletize finished rolls and move them to the finished goods area\nPerform quality checks before and after production runs\nReview customer specifications and ensure compliance\nConduct final inspections of finished rolls\nFollow GMPs, SOPs, 5S, and DTM procedures\nPerform data entry in Shop Floor and Quality systems\nCommunicate machine status and job details during shift changes\nAssist with preventative maintenance as scheduled\nIssue work orders for equipment or repair needs\nFollow all food safety and allergen control requirements\nReport safety concerns, incidents, and quality issues immediately\nProvide break relief coverage for Slitter Operators\nSupport other shifts or departments as needed\nParticipate in Global Performance System (GPS) activities\nWe’d Love to Hear From You If\nYou have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (preferred)\nYou can read, write, and communicate effectively in English\nYou have basic data entry and computer skills\nYou are comfortable using tools and measuring devices (standard and metric)\nYou have experience with pallet wrapping, forklifts, or material handling equipment\nYou can operate or are willing to learn overhead hoist systems\nYou are reliable and able to work 12-hour shifts\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
