The applicants should possess at least 3 years technical support experiences in governmental secure issuance of National ID / Driver Licenses / Passports. Solid expertise in the field of centralize and decentralize personalization. Responsible for delivering robust, high-performance solutions into live environments while contributing to upstream definition and development.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Implementation & Delivery (Primary Focus)\nLead FAT, SAT, CAT, and UAT testing, including test plans and acceptance criteria\n\nInstall, configure, commission, and deploy personalisation equipment and supporting IT infrastructure\n\nPerform calibration, fine-tuning, and optimisation (print quality, mechanical alignment, laser engraving, document transport)\n\nDiagnose and resolve mechanical and transport issues (jams, misfeeds, wear, alignment)\n\nSupport deployment into live environments and ensure successful handover to operations (readiness, training, ramp-up)\n\n2. Operational Support & Optimisation\nProvide hands-on support for hardware in live environments\n\nTroubleshoot end-to-end issues across hardware, software, and IT layers\n\nMaintain system performance through calibration, optimisation, and transport tuning\n\nInvestigate recurring issues and implement root cause fixes\n\nCollaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve defects and improve system reliability\n\nEnsure compliance with quality, configuration, and operational standards\n\n3. Development & Supplier Engagement (Supporting Role)\nContribute to requirements, specifications, and technical validation\n\nWork with R&D, IT, procurement, and suppliers to ensure integrated, supportable solutions\n\nSupport supplier selection and performance management\n\nProvide input into improvements in calibration, transport reliability, and operational efficiency\n\nManage risks, issues, change control, and configuration\n\nMaintain documentation and provide progress reporting\n\nSupport audits, compliance, and assurance activities\n\nBuild strong cross-functional relationships (Delivery, Engineering, IT, suppliers)\n\nABOUT YOU\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor of Engineering degree or related discipline\n\nExperience\nHands-on experience in hardware implementation and support\n\nStrong background in FAT/SAT/CAT/UAT, installation, and commissioning\n\nExpertise in calibration, mechanical adjustment, and optimisation of precision/mechatronic systems\n\nProven ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues\n\nExperience with suppliers and live operational environments\n\nStrong root cause analysis, change/configuration management, and continuous improvement capabilites\n\nDetail-oriented, methodical, and hands-on\n\nHigh focus on quality, precision, and reliability\n\nProactive, resilient, and effective under pressure\n\nStrong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nDesired experience\nSolid IT infrastructure knowledge (servers, networking, system integration)\n\nExperience in secure identity or regulated environments\n\nExposure to manufacturing/production systems\n\nKnowledge of system security/hardening\n\nAdditional Information\nRegular international travel (EMEA, APAC, LATAM)\n\nFlexibility required for deployment, testing, and live support activities\n\nTOPPAN Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
