After delivering our 20% market share goal of “one in five” in 2023, we have launched our new goal - Mission 365 - targeting £365 million of sales\nA highly analytical and detail-orientated Financial Analyst with strong excel and Power BI modelling expertise to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting and business decision-making. Responsible for building and maintaining financial models, automate reporting processes, develop dashboards and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILTIES:\nFINANCIAL ANALYSIS & MODELLING\nBuild, develop and maintain complex financial models, reporting systems and planning tools to support efficient and effective financial processes, either through excel, Power BI or other relevant tools\nIdentify opportunities to streamline reporting and planning processes, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency. \nDrive the adoption of automation to enhance reporting capability and integrity, including the use of AI.\nDevelop high-quality reporting packs for senior leaders, providing clear commentary on financial performance, key trends and operational drivers. \nDesign and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs and metrics that support consistent and effective performance monitoring across the Group. \nDeliver robust financial modelling and analytical support to inform investment decisions, efficiency initiatives and strategic projects.\nSupport wider finance team with modelling capabilities to streamline current processes.\nSupport senior leadership with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests.\nPEOPLE/ LEADERSHIP\nPromote best practice in reporting, analysis and financial planning, ensuring consistent standards across the team\nExcel/Power BI/AI superuser for finance - upskilling finance team members.\nRISK/ PROCESS\nEnsuring all financial models are supported by process notes/explanations and have built in checks/protection where appropriate - ensuring model integrity and adherence to modelling best practices.\nSupport the development of data governance.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:\nEssential\nPrevious financial modelling and reporting experience with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement.\nAdvanced Microsoft excel skills.\nStrong Power BI development experience\nExperience building financial and operational models.\nA curious mindset with AI capabilities and a desire to develop those skills further\nExperience working with large datasets and data warehouses.\nExcellent commercial and analytical skills.\nData visualisation and storytelling capability.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nDesirable\nPrevious FP&A experience\nRetail/multi-site experience\nFinance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business or related Bachelor’s degree.\n\nWhat we’ll do for you\nIn a culture where hard work is recognised and great results are rewarded; you can look forward to a company bonus that will give you a share of our success (up to 25% of your base salary).
