You will be responsible for leading and managing all environmental, health, safety, process safety, risk management, property protection, and facility security activities for the Bayport site. This position ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company standards and policies. The role serves as a key resource to site leadership and plant personnel, providing strategic direction, technical guidance, and operational support to promote regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement in EHS performance.\nWhat you’ll bring\nB.S. in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering and are related field required.\nCertification preferred in CSOP and/or CIH preferred.\nMinimum of 10 years of experience managing an EHS function within a manufacturing, chemical or refiner environment.\nStrong knowledge of environmental compliance, including air, water and waste management.\nStrong knowledge of occupational safety and process safety managements systems.\nFamiliarity with emissions testing programs safety management systems.\nPreferred Competencies\nStrong leadership and organizational skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with regulatory agencies, plant leadership, and cross-functional teams.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and incident investigation skills.\nDemonstrated ability to drive compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhy join us\nAt Topsoe, we’re problem solvers.
