You should have solid organizational and people skills to ensure our guests have a positive experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. Ultimately, you’ll ensure we provide excellent guest service with high standards and a pleasant cruise experience to our guests.\nAvailability:\nMust have open availability on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, & holidays.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepare the bar by setting up bar tools, decorations, condiments, candles, etc.\nCraft and serve cocktails and any other beverage requested.\nProvide an excellent overall dining experience for our guests.\nPresent menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).\nUp-sell additional products when appropriate.\nTake accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software or order slips.\nCheck customers’ IDs to ensure they meet the minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.\nCommunicate order details to the Kitchen Staff.\nMaintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.\nDeliver checks and collect bill payments.\nCarry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.\nFollow all relevant health department regulations.\nConclude the dining experience by acknowledging guests and inviting them to return.\nAssist with special events as needed.\nAdhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.\nPromptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary.\nRequirements:\nProven work experience as a Bartender.\nHands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system.\nAttentiveness and patience with customers.\nExcellent presentation skills.\nStrong organizational and multitasking skills.\nActive listening and effective communication skills.\nTeam player.\nAvailable to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends.\nHigh school diploma;
