Success in this role comes from helping customers achieve their business goals by understanding their challenges, building trust and guiding them toward the right technical solutions.\nWho We Think Will Thrive in This Role\nYou might be successful in this role if you:\nEnjoy working directly with customers and solving technical challenges.\n\nAre comfortable discussing technology with engineers as well as business stakeholders.\n\nHave experience in embedded systems, industrial computing, IoT, software, hardware or adjacent technical fields.\n\nCan quickly learn new technologies and translate technical concepts into business value.\n\nEnjoy collaborating across sales, engineering and product teams.\n\nLike being involved in the full customer journey, from first technical discussions through successful product deployment.\n\nKey Objectives of the Role\nBuild and maintain a strong link between Toradex and the embedded market.\n\nAct as a primary technical point of contact for customers in both pre-sales and post-sales phases.\n\nProvide consultative support to customers while clearly highlighting the Toradex value proposition and unique selling proposition (USPs). Ensuring customer success by providing high-quality technical guidance and hands-on support.\n\nIntroduce Toradex technology and Eco-System to new customers\n\nAssist and unblock key customers, so they can bring their products to market faster, using Toradex solutions.\n\nUnderstand and track project requirements on both the technical and business side.\n\nSupport customer questions related to:\nEmbedded Linux (e.g., Yocto-based systems and Torizon)\n\nEmbedded software development\n\nHardware\n\nManage customer expectations and actively address misalignments in perception or requirements.\n\nAct as a trusted technical advisor, aligning customer needs with Toradex’s product portfolio and roadmap.\n\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Technical Sales, Support, Product Management, R&D) to address customer challenges, escalate bugs and feature requests, and provide timely solutions.\n\nDevelop and deliver technical demos and training sessions to help customers and partners better understand Arm-based technologies and Toradex solutions.\n\nRepresent Toradex at tradeshows, industry events and in customer meetings from a technical perspective.\n\nCandidate Profile\nInterpersonal skills\nHighly customer-centric, with strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\n\nStrong focus on consultative selling: creating value and trust, exploring and understanding customer needs before proposing solutions.\n\nAble to identify and communicate project risks and proactively minimize them through clear communication and problem-solving.\n\nSkilled at capturing and systematically documenting customer requirements for review with application engineering and product management.\n\nProven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to management and executives.\n\nStrong communication, relationship-building and teamwork skills.\n\nOrganized and structured, with basic project management abilities (planning, tracking and executing tasks).\n\nHigh-integrity, self-driven team player and thorough professional.\n\nDisposition to travel across EMEA, once or twice per month. (usually short trips ~3-4 day, but it could extend depending on the occasion.)\n\nCore Experience and Qualifications\nExperience in embedded systems, industrial computing, IoT, technical sales engineering, software engineering, solutions engineering, or related technical fields.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.\n\nProven experience in technical B2B consultative sales, customer success or technical customer support in a related industry.\n\nExperience providing technical product consultation and demos\n\nAbility to understanding customers needs and requirements and translating these into our portfolio of solutions and clearly communicating product benefits.\n\nHands-on experience with customer support/success routines, including remote troubleshooting and consultative problem-solving.\n\nExperience working with embedded operating systems, Linux-based platforms, industrial computing solutions or related technologies.\n\nFamiliarity with Linux, embedded software development, or adjacent technologies.
