The ideal candidate will act as a key technical interface between customers, sales, and internal engineering teams, supporting customers throughout the complete product development lifecycle-from initial requirements gathering and solution definition through development, validation, and delivery.\nThe role requires a strong combination of embedded hardware and software knowledge, customer-facing skills, problem-solving ability, and business awareness. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their technical challenges, recommend suitable solutions, and help drive successful adoption of our products and technologies in the Indian market.\nKey Responsibilities\nTake technical ownership of customer-driven projects, supporting the complete development lifecycle from requirements gathering and solution definition through development, validation, and delivery.\nAct as the primary technical interface between customers, sales teams, and internal engineering/development teams to ensure successful project execution.\nWork closely with customers in India to provide hardware and software design support, technical guidance, and application-level assistance based on their specific requirements.\nUnderstand customer applications and system requirements and recommend appropriate products, technologies, and system architectures.\nSupport customers during product evaluation, prototyping, development, testing, and production deployment.\nProvide technical presentations, product demonstrations, training, and workshops to customers and their engineering teams as required.\nWork closely with the sales team to provide technical support during customer engagements, opportunity development, product evaluations, and project acquisition.\nCollaborate with customer engineering teams to identify technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective solutions.\nProactively identify project risks, including unclear or incomplete requirements, technical dependencies, and potential development challenges, and work with stakeholders to mitigate them.\nAnalyse technical problems and develop conceptual solutions, including high-level system architectures, that effectively address customer requirements.\nUse internal change management, support, and issue-tracking systems to manage customer requests, document technical issues, and ensure timely resolution.\nContribute technical content, application notes, troubleshooting information, and other relevant material to the developer community and knowledge-sharing platforms.\nParticipate in trade shows, exhibitions, technical events, workshops, and customer seminars alongside the sales team to promote products and services.\nEngage directly with potential customers at industry events to understand their requirements, identify opportunities, and support business growth in the Indian market.\nMaintain accurate technical documentation, project records, customer requirements, and support activities.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nTechnical Skills & Experience\n2-5 years of experience in Field Applications Engineering, Embedded Systems, Technical Support, Embedded Product Development, or a similar customer-facing technical role.\nStrong understanding of embedded systems and electronics, with the ability to read and interpret hardware schematics, datasheets, and technical specifications.Practical experience with hardware and software design and development.\n\nExperience working within a cross-functional product development or engineering team and a good understanding of hardware and software development lifecycles.\nExperience with high-end SoC (System-on-Chip) technologies and embedded computing platforms.\nKnowledge of Linux and Windows Embedded/Windows CE operating systems.\nAbility to understand different technologies, evaluate their suitability for specific applications, and recommend appropriate solutions.\nExposure to embedded processors, computer-on-modules, single-board computers, carrier boards, peripherals, interfaces, and related embedded technologies will be an advantage.\nExperience in customer technical support, solution consulting, or pre-sales engineering is preferred.\nKey Competencies\nStrong customer-facing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with engineering and technical teams.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and solutions clearly to both customers and internal stakeholders.\nAbility to capture, understand, analyse, and document customer requirements accurately.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate multiple solution approaches and recommend the most appropriate one.\nStrong understanding of project risk identification and mitigation, with a proactive approach to resolving potential issues.\nAbility to understand diverse customer applications across multiple industries and identify how different technologies can be effectively applied to meet specific requirements.\nStrong presentation and technical demonstration skills.\nExcellent documentation, reporting, and record-keeping abilities.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, engineering, product management, and customer support teams.\nWillingness to travel within India for customer meetings, technical engagements, trade shows,
