The position combines hands-on engineering work with cross-functional collaboration, especially with product managers and software development teams.\nThis is an end-to-end hardware engineering role focused on building robust, optimized, and reusable embedded hardware platforms and supporting them throughout their lifecycle.\nRole & Responsibilities\nAs a Hardware Development Engineer, you will drive the complete hardware design cycle for new electronic products, including:\nSystem design\nSchematic capture\nBill of Materials (BOM) creation and maintenance\nMulti-layer PCBdesign (6+ layers)\nTechnical documentation\nHardware bring-up\nVerification and validation, including compliance tests such as EMC, electrical compliance of interfaces, shock and vibration, and related activities\nCreation and maintenance of Altium component libraries and the Altium 365 workspace\nYou will be responsible for developing highly robust, optimized, and generically usable System on Module solutions, carrier boards, peripheral products, and related hardware, together with complete documentation.\nYou will work closely with product managers and software development teams during the development of new hardware products. Depending on the project, you may also act as a project manager for specific development initiatives or contribute as part of a broader project team.\nResponsibilities for Existing Products\nIn addition to new product development, you will support and improve existing products by:\nFinding and analyzing hardware-related problems\nRedesigning products due to quality, procurement, lifecycle, or other business and technical reasons and documenting the design changes according to the internal development process\nExecuting or supporting compliance tests such as EMC, vibration, and electrical compliance\nHelping FAEs with hardware-related questions\nProviding direct customer support for complex hardware-related questions\nCustomer Education and Technical Advocacy\nWe also engage with customers through different channels to educate them about our products.
