You coordinate daily warehouse operations and make sure every physical step, from receiving to shipping, is done right and on time.\nBesides the warehouse, you handle key logistics topics yourself and help our remote logistics team grow into their tasks. You take ownership and follow things through on your own, and together with the Logistics Manager you keep improving our processes.\nYour tasks\nWarehouse\nCoordinate daily warehouse activities in Horw (receiving, testing flow, shipping) together with the Testing Operator and Logistics Assistant\n\nCheck incoming goods and post receipts in D365 the same day, including serial numbers; report damage, wrong labels or packaging\n\nHandle the physical side of stock movements: transfers out of Horw, internal requests, supplier returns, relabeling and blocked stock\n\nCarry out the inventory counts in Horw and clarify differences\n\nStep in for packing and shipping when colleagues are absent\n\nLogistics\nMonitor and resolve D365 interface and serial number errors with our EMS and 3PL partners\nFollow up on 3PL and courier issues such as discrepancies, delays and lost shipments\n\nMake sure shipments leaving Horw meet customs and export requirements\n\nProcesses & team\nCreate and update work instructions, and train and support our remote logistics team on them\nBring in ideas for improvement together with the Logistics Manager\n Your profile\nVocational training in logistics (e.g. Logistiker/in EFZ); further training is a plus\nSeveral years of hands-on warehouse experience, ideally with export shipments, 3PL providers and couriers in an international company\n\nKnowledge of customs and export processes is an advantage (e.g. Zollfachmann/-frau with federal diploma)\n\nConfident user of ERP systems (D365 is an advantage) and MS Office\n\nReliable, well organized and independent: you take ownership and follow things through\n\nProcess-minded and happy to document how things work\n\nHands-on: you're happy to pack a parcel yourself\n\nFluent in German and English, spoken and written\n\n What we offer\nAn agile and inter-cultural work environment\nWorking with lastest IoT computer technology in an international environment\n\nParticipation in defining processes and your working environment\n\nContemporary employment conditions, modern office space and a flexible working environment\n\nOpportunities for your personal development\n\nToradex is a leader in embedded computing, serving innovative products to industrial, medical, automotive & IoT companies creating feature-rich & intelligent systems for demanding applications, e.g. supercars, self-driving tractors, patient monitoring systems - to name a few.\nWe provide effective & robust embedded computing solutions and strive for the best development experience in the industry with a focus on intelligent hardware design, innovative software solutions & free comprehensive support.
